Mushroom – 1 lb (Any kind)
Basmati rice- 2 cups
Water – 4 cups
Green chili – 3 count slit them
Onion – 1 medium diced, 1-thin sliced (Garnish)
Tomato- 2 medium
Cardamoms – 4 count
Cloves – 4 count
Cinnamon stick – 1
Cashew – a few
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Oil/ghee – 2 tbsp
Cilantro (Coriander) for garnishing
Mint – 1/2 cup chopped
Salt to taste
Take a wok n add oil to it then add thin sliced onions and fry them until dark n remove from the pan, now add all the garam masala ingredients, cashew and green chilli and fry for a minimum or so.
Add onions and fry until golden brown. Then add Ginger garlic paste to it and fry. Then add tomatoes and cook then add mushroom, mint and fry it by closing lid until the mushroom is slightly cooked.
Add the basmati rice and fry for a minimum or so then add water, add salt to it accordingly and cook it on medium flame and close the lid, in between mix it once to mix them properly. Now reduce the flame and let it cook for 6 more minimum. It’s ready to serve. Garnish the cilantro n fried onions and serve with raita.
