Soups

Soup is a primarily liquid food, usually served warm or hot (but may be cool or cold), created by mixing meat or vegetable ingredients with stock, or water. In addition, hot soups are characterised by boiling solid ingredients in a pot of liquids until the flavours are extracted, forming a broth.Soups are similar to stews, and a strong distinction between the two does not exist in some cases; however, soups usually contain more liquid (broth) than stews.
